I called for a delivery order and was literally griped out by the woman that answered the phone because she was really busy. I understand being overwhelmed in a kitchen but that was the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I will not be ordering from here again.
Lame! Tried calling in an order at our fave Chinese delivery, Fuwa. When placing the order, I did find it strange that the employee wasn’t sure what potstickers were, told us our combo dinner came with two choices, etc. He told me they got a new menu. When the food arrived, it was actually Rice Bowl!!! No wonder. Looked on Fuwa’s FB page and found out they closed a few days ago. Apparently, Rice Bowl got their phone number and is not making it clear they are not Fuwa……Anyway! My egg drop soup was cold upon arrival, the potstickers (or dumplings as they called them) tasted like the ones I can buy at Walmart and heat up in the microwave, shrimp lo mein did not taste fresh and had a ton of sauce all over it, and my husband said his chicken was not that great either. So sad our Fuwa is gone, and not happy with the quality and taste of the sneaky Rice Bowl Cafe!
I have eaten here frequently over the years. It used to be pretty good. But this time, I was very disappointed. The egg drop soup was cold and bland. The entres really didn’t have any flavor at all. I got the four-way combo special, which comes with soup. However, I did not get my soup and had to ask for it. It appears that they are on the typical restaurant slippery slope, where quality fades over time and good restaurants turn mediocre at best.
