This place is wonderful. The fruit is not canned. I had the fruit cup and it was all fresh. The desserts are great too. All if the food is prepared fresh and tastes great. I love eating here.
The Ripe Tomatoe. This place is not a very great place to come. There are so many other great place to go in Tulsa and this one seems to think they are IT!!!! The waitstaff are so hateful and don’t seem to care about the customer’s at all. They give you dirty looks like you should not be there. They never come back to fill your drinks and if you ask them, they act mad!! For what you pay, go to Utica Square ; so many more wonderful places. And they treat you kind there!! All of the restaurants there and on 15th as well!!!

We’ve eaten at The Ripe Tomato many times and always look forward to it. The food has typically been delicious. This time however, it was pretty bad. The service was deplorable and the food not much better. Two of us got the tuna salad in a tomato, with fresh fruit. The tuna was almost unrecognizable in an overly creamy egg salad type of dressing. The fruit was CANNED. With an abundance of fresh fruits available in the summer, there was no excuse for this. It’ll be a long time before we go back. Very disappointed.
The service and food are both great. 10 bones for a lunch plate may be steep, but it’s not if you factor in the portion sizes! They also use local and organic ingredients in some menu items, which is great. Also, our server was very friendly and efficient. FYI: it’s located in the back of an antiques/home store called the market.
Cute place. Great place for lunch. they will even let you split salads for no extra cost. love the tomato and mozzerella sald.
Got the avocado turkey wrap with a cup of tomato basil soup, it was wonderful, and the service was great. Hope to see a bigger venue soon 🙂 was packed for lunch and still got it quick.
