Very tasteful. My mom got the roast beef meal. And I got the meatloaf you get monster sides and the cobbler was excellent. Everyone this is real soul food at its finest. Please take the time to drive to North Peoria. The place has plenty of seating if you want to eat their. Thank you Sweet Lisa’s.

A Must Try. Porkchops, Catfish, Chicken N Waffles… and the wall of desserts. Really doesn’t matter what I’ve picked, its all incredible. There’s nothing I can note about it that makes it unique other than it’s all delicious comfort food. 6 out of 6 coworkers agree… it’s worth the drive to Pine and Peoria. Lisa is indeed Sweet!

Delicious. I love home-cooked soul food and this reminds me of my mommas cooking. The only down fall is the wait time. So call in your order ahead of time so your not waiting.

The fried porkchop, yams, cornbread, and Mac n cheese were all great. We ordered a veggie plate which is 4 sides and cornbread plus a one meat combo and a tea and it was less than $13.

Best Soul Food in Town. I love their fried pork chops! Their catfish is good too!

Great place but wait time ruins it. We love Darrell, the owner, and the food is wonderful. Desserts are unbelievably huge and delicious. Unfortunately, we will probably not be back. The wait time for the food has increased greatly. Tonight, we ordered 3 hamburgers/fries at 4:50 and did not get our food until 5:55. We were the only people eating in – there were 7 people who came in or called for take out. Two burgers were finished about 10 minutes before the last one. We are so discouraged because we love to support local, small businesses especially a restaurant that has such great food. Wish them luck in the new place.

Awesome!. I’ve been here twice in the last week. The catfish is amazing, this place is definitely one of the best eats in town!
