Good. Ate here for lunch on a Wednesday in July.Food was good. I had the lunch special which was a pulled pork sandwich with chips for $4.95. Pulled pork was good, but I prefer if they didn’t add BBQ sauce to it. I prefer to do that myself at the table (assuming I want any at all that day). Bun was toasted and complemented the sandwich well. Fairly priced, but I wish their non-alcoholic drinks were cheaper. You can actually get certain draft beers for less money than you can get an iced tea.Service was friendly and quick. We sat at the bar and the bartender did a decent job of waiting on us.It’s sort of at the outter edge of where most downtown workers want to walk to on a hot day. So, that probably hurts their lunch crowd. Overall it’s good. Not great, but decent food at a fair price.I’ve never been for dinner or drinks.Pub was clean and in good repair. Decent parking at lunchtime.
No Service!. Stopped by during an evening at the Brady District…walked in, sat oursevles at a table…literally NO SERVICE. Finally a rude man asked what we’d like to drink…never mind eat, I guess! He disappeared with my debit card after bringing us 2 beers, and I never saw anyone again…just employees standing around talking at the bar. We came to eat, drink, stay for live music but left after our one beer and went to the Blue Dome district for our evening. MUCH better just a few blocks south. WONT be back as they could care less if we were there or not.
Looking for a quick bite before the foo fighters concert @ bok and had been to hc b4 shows @ cain’s..suggested to dh & ds… Horrible experience this time! No service.. Not figuratively literally! Waited about 15 n dining room & even 5-10 on patio to no avail. No greeting, no b right with u, nothing!!! Embarrassed I even suggested it to my family. We were there ready to order food (& cocktails for me & dh). No acknowledgment we were even there. Good business practice, hehe. We(I) won’t b back.
Still good!. I went there before Kathy Griffin and once again, was not disappointed. Our group had very reasonable priced drinks, and we shared very good wings, hummus and pita bread, chips and salsa, queso, BBQ sliders and good homemade fries. It was hard to leave for the show, but I must say, Kathy was good, better than Sheryl Crow, The last time I went. It is right around the corner from the Brady. Check it out the next time you got there. Our waitress was great too.28 Aug, 2010Better than the Sheryl Crow Concert. Went there before the concert, we had the sliders, the Rueben, and the Gyro and they were all great. Waiter was great and friendly. The concert stunk, so I left early and came back and had the lime chili wings. Great. I should have stayed there and skipped the concert. My friend said her Rueben was the best she ever had, and she orders them everywhere.
Zen.. Live music and great food.
Small menu, but everything we had was really well done. The place is cleaner and better decorated than I assumed from the outward appearance. Overall, pleasantly surprised!
