This has always been an acceptable restaurant and sometimes even good until my last few visits and the most recent will be my last. We went there last Monday night and were surprised to see only a few other customers but figured great, we won’t have to wait long. Wrong, we did have to wait for about 10 minutes before the waitress got around to us. We ordered two iced teas but all she brought was two waters. Ten minutes later, she finally returned to get our food order and I let the drink thing go. The food actually came out pretty quick but that was apparently just a cruel tease to get our hopes up. My tamales were literally cold, the black beans were at best warm, and the Mexican corn was room temp. I ate a few bites and pushed the plate away. My wife also declined to eat her plate of cold enchiladas. Nobody seemed to notice or possibly care that we didn’t eat but that was really no huge shock at that point. On a good note, they did help us to cut a few calories even if that wasn’t their intention….
