Quite possibly the best restaurant in OKC, been here numerous times food and service is always good. The pork chops and baby back ribs are excellent!
I have eaten here numerous times over the last several years. The food is decent, the facility appears well maintained, and the waitstaff are generally competent although the overall experience never lived up to the price point. My last visit was for a special occasion and involved a party of 7 adults and one child. I called for reservations and they told me that they didn’t take reservations but come in and they would get us a table. I arrived and was quickly informed by the manager that I should have made reservations so I told him about my earlier call. He got mad and made accusations that I was lying. There are times when you just have to laugh, shake your head, and walk away. We went elsewhere and we have continued to do so.
Very good chicken fingers. Something for everyone. Sometimes is very busy especially Sunday lunch so arrive early. I like this Charlestons better because it was much quieter.
My wife and I wanted to go to a quick lunch. She had s salad and I had the chicken fried chicken. . Great lunch service. Fast and excellent food. I will gladly come back.
If you going to visit this chain in Oklahoma City this is the location to be at. Charleston’s is always good for a quick and easy lunch with a tad bit of sophistication for a chain. Their sandwich menu offers plenty of options and the service is always on par with the establishment.
One of our best local chains, Charlestons is know for its quality food and exceptional service. Oh, and the baked potato soup which is a local favorite! From savory steaks and fresh salads, to catch of the day and even enchiladas, there’s something for everyone. No matter which location you go to, you won’t be disappointed. Personal favorite is Walts Champagne Chicken Salad and then the Ribeye. A great place to take out of town guests!
Flavor changes.. We went to Charleston’s today, my husband ordered the ribs as he has done for twenty years or so. I ordered my lunch as usual. What happened!! The food was seriously under seasoned and the barbecue sauce was awful, far too much hot sauce it was more like Cajun food than American. Hope this flavor change is temporary otherwise you have lost two very loyal patrons of twenty years!! Please bring back the GOOD American flavors!Thanks for listening.
