This is my fav place in this area of OKC!Great food, great staff and excellent drinks!Seriously, talking to them about making a special drink and they get really creative! Staff makes you feel like family but the main thing is the fresh food. Came here for dinner and to watch the Cubs in the World Series and it was a nice relaxing yummy night! If you don’t have a great meal, I would be shocked.
San Marcos is one of the best places I’ve ever been! I can come here with a group and everyone leave happy and full or I can come on my own for a quick lunch break. The staff is amazing! Great food, great service, and the food is by far the best in the area! I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area!
Good food. This took the place of Los Amigos, which my entire family misses, but I wanted to try this one, since eating at the may location. I like the food, and the carne asada tacos are very tasty. The salsa and guacamole are both excellent.
Pizzadilla. Food is great! We’ve tried a few things. The ribs are spicy to me and a flavor I’m not used to but very good. The pizzadilla is a quesadilla and is my absolute fave! The beef steak they use is so tender and awesome. It’s also stuffed with cheese, onions, bacon, and I can’t remember what else but great with sour cream. Strawberry margarita was also tasty with a strawberry sugar rim and a good amount kick, I was feeling happy and full walking out the door with plenty to take home for lunch the next day. Oh! Also the chimichanga gets a big thumbs up! Plenty of seating with elbow room! Unlike Ted’s. I love their food but hate how crowded it is. And these guys also make their own great flour tortillas. The only change I’d ask for is a drink menu. Hope this helps someone give this great place a try I want them to stick around!
First time here since Tres Amigos. Nine dollar lunch menu! Way too expensive for this type of food in OKC. Will not go to any San Marcos again. Teds is comperable price with much better food!
The service is top notch and they strive to make their customers happy and keep coming back. The food is excellent as well. I’m a regular at the SW 59th and Penn location and my wife and I stopped in to this location as I know the owner from the other location. We were both very happy with the food and service. I’ve never been disappointed with their food. Always great!
Continuing on with the San Marcos standard!. No doubt I’m a San Marcos fan. I was so incredibly pleased when I learned that we had one closer to home! We ordered takeout last night, well I actually called the wrong one with my order. Husband shows up and they handled it perfectly. Called the other restaurant and let then know and made our food immediately. We ordered shrimp tostadas, a beef chimichanga, nachos for the kids and an order of the setup. My shrimp tostadas, as usual, were very fresh, with lots of avocado and cilantro. Mr. Sarah said his beef chimi was top notch. The salsa is pretty much the best there is around. Chips super fresh, crispy and tasty. I’m a bit confused why they aren’t rated higher, but I’m guessing it has to do with cranky Bethanyites that are upset about Los Amigos (which wasn’t even close to as good as San Marcos) closing down. If you want good, fresh, tasty food with impeccable service, give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!
