Love Shawn’s Sushi. Small friendly place. I always get the Spicy Cowboy and love it! I started going there several years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. Now I travel further because it is my favorite sushi restaurant!
—January, 2016—The last time we came to Shawns Sushi, we were really disappointed and didnt return for several months. However, my husband and I have a policy when it comes to food, service, or restaurants that disappointed our palette: that we have to revisit them in 6 months to a year and see if our experience is still consistent (unless, of course, it was a terrible, terrible experience that cannot be remedied). So, we ended up trying Shawns Sushi and we were decently pleased. Still not the best sushi that Ive ever tried, but the quality has gotten better (before, it was on par, if not less than days old grocery sushi). We ordered the Volcano Roll, Atomic Tootsie, and Shawns Spicy Tofu dish. His sushi rolls were with decent flavor, and the Spicy Tofu was good, especially if you need to clear your sinuses and want something easy to go down the throat. While his sushi is not something that I will be racing back to try, I know that I wont be appalled or hesitant to try his other sushi rolls and dishes again!

The super sweet employee came out and got my payment, and brought my order out to me so I didn’t have to get him out of the car. I always get the spicy cowboy and it’s delish! Great people and yummy sushi! Highly recommend!!
