Soso. Overpriced no frillsflavor was lacking
Hit and usually miss. I used to frequent this restaurant for lunch but switched jobs and have been getting to go food the last three times. This was one of my favorite places to go but the last 3 times have been horrible. The last time I ordered the Greek salad and all the lettuce was rusted and wilted. I used to cook and couldn’t imagine sending this food out to a customer and then expect them to come back. I gave them three chances and will not be back!
This place is still decent, although the food was WAY better under the old management. Hasn’t stopped me from going though.
Great place. Every thing i have ordered was good
I love this place. The baklava is wonderful, and the Baja Gahnoush, Kufta Kabob, and falafel are to die for.I adore the mint tea, and I can’t wait to try all of their new desserts! My only complaint about this place is the (sometimes) less than stellar service. In fact, their service is ALL over the place. Sometimes I swear it feels like I could just walk out on my check and no one would even notice with the amount of attention the servers will pay to you. Sometimes they’ll forget thongs you’ve ordered and you’ll have to wait ages for it. And although the food is almost always excellent, sometimes you get something that was obviously just thrown together. Like the mint lemonade. It’s usually delicious, But a few days ago when my boyfriend got it, it was like someone put a garden in the blender, way too much mint! This place is NOT for someone who is impatient. If your going to get mad about the service, this is not a place for you. I think the food is worth it, and I like how it’s right down the street from my apartment. Overall, this place is all over the place. But maybe once the renovations are done, and with the new additions to the menu, some changes to the staff will be made as Well.
Will definitely be going back!. I have a hard time finding restaurants that cater to a vegan diet but Mediterranean places are typically easy to buy from. The staff was very friendly and were more than happy to replace the yogurt salad on their veggie sampler with a generous portion of extra dolmeh. The baba ganouj and hummus were great. The dolmeh and falafel were tasty and the tabouli was made with a lot of lemon (which I happen to prefer). I also ordered mint tea which is prepared without sweetener. By the time I got back to my office, the brew was very strong so I diluted half of it with hot water and still have the rest for this afternoon. I spent a bit more than I would like for lunch but still have hummus, baba ganouj, and several dolmeh left. I am a full, happy vegan!
Very traditional and good food. Hookah is Al-Fakher and Starbuzz, and they know what they Are doing. Customer service could be better though, as well as taking Starbuzz off the menu. Great for those that like a traditional hookah smoking experience!
