My wife and I ate dinner there and the food was good, but the portions were small in comparison to comparable priced places. We both had the burnt ends dinners which were great but not enough for the price. May go back if we get a real desire for them but will go to other places with larger servings.

Go to Swadleys !!!. Like I said in the title don’t waste your time, pass Bad Brads up and go to Swadleys if you want a consistently good tasting place to eat. Bad Brads used to be mediocre barbecue a few years ago but doesn’t even reach the rating of mediocre on my last visit. The meat on the sandwich was very dry and it did not help that the Texas toast was sopping wet with butter but not toasted hardly at all, I think I took two bites and just threw the rest away. The onion rings that cost an extra $2.99 just to substitute them for fries were definitely subpar and grossly overpriced! My kids ordered the quesadilla kids meal, (definitely not worth the $4.99 we paid) the fries were ok but the quesadillas were nasty with a rubbery texture, if you have a tortilla and some shredded cheese you would be better off to make your own quesadillas at home that would taste much better than what we received. I definitely do not understand the hype about this place, and from what I am seeing with some of the reviews that have been written it looks like the hype may be dying out. I have no problem paying a premium price for exceptional food just don’t like paying that same price for food that gets tossed due to being cold, dry and subpar. I don’t think we will be back unless we hear that something changes. We live in Yukon and I think we will drive the extra distance to Swadleys if we want barbecue at this point.

Baaaaaaaad!. Restaurant is very smoky and hazy. Ribs are very fatty. Like biting into lard with a boar hog flavor. The okra was good.

This was one of our favorite places to eat. Not anymore. We won’t be back. We paid $32.06 for the sampler appertizer which ended up being the only part of the meal we liked, two sodas which no one can go wrong with that and two twisters with brisket which we were told that it would be 75 cents more apiece that we agreed it would be alright. Big disappointment in the brisket. It was so pureed that the texture of it was not pleasing to eat. My husband and I both only at less than half it and didn’t eat the rest. We told the waitress that it tasted different than it usually did and she only apologized for it. We heard her in the kitchen telling someone what we said about it not tasting good and that it was more like pureed than chopped but that was as far as it went. We will spend our hard earned money somewhere else. We wished we went to Bedlam’s BBQ instead of driving all the way to Yukon. What happened here? Change of hands, different management, new cooks or what? We wished we read the reviews before and not after.

Good Catering!. We have used Bad Brad’s for catering and they always do a wonderful job. They are on time and helpful. The food is warm and tasty. There is always plenty of it to go around too. They do a great job and we plan to use them again.

Would Recommend. Today was my first visit to this restaurant. I had the Rustler sandwich with french fries accompanied by an order of Swiss sticks for an appetizer. The french fries themselves weren not really anything special but with some ranch to dip them in they came out fine. For the sandwich itself I chose Turkey. The cheese they melted onto the meat along with the Texas toast used for the actual sandwich all went nicely together. A simple sandwich but a good one. The highlight of the meal was the order of Swiss Sticks. I would highly recommend these as an appetizer. With or without dipping sauce they were great. Service was excellent. When we walked in we were met immediately with a smile from a waitress who was waiting on another table near the door. When she was done she came over to us straight away and seated us. Drinks and refills were prompt. We did encounter several different waitresses that came to our table to serve us. This was a little confusing but I just figured this was how they divided up the work. All in all a good first visit and I plan I taking family back for a meal at some point.

Best BBQ ever. Great brisket. Great pork. Great slaw. Pass on the beans.
