Update: we grabbed takeout from Zab Thai last night. I still like this restaurant. The mussamun curry was delicious. We loved the summer rolls and peanut sauce. Their noodle dishes are not my favorite but this place does have amazing curries.27 Sep, 2013The husband and I went here for the first time today. It was very busy at lunch time (a good sign!) with only a couple tables open. The waitress (I think she was one of the owners) was so kind and helpful, the service was very prompt for how busy they were. I had one of the specials, the fire braised pork, and husband had pad see ew. My pork was fantastic, very tender, and the accompanying curry was very flavorful. Husband’s pad see ew tasted as one would expect. We also had the chicken satay. The chicken had been marinated and was not as tough as many other places and the peanut sauce was great, I would come back for their peanut sauce alone.
Well after passing this by for the place next door so often, finally had that hankering for Thai food and stopped in. So glad we did. Still nice and clean with a wonderful color scheme. We ordered pumpkin curry chicken and roasted pork. Both were great. Curry was just the right amount of hot. Great smooth flavor with the after bite of spice. Pork was in strips and very tender, used a fork to cut it. Service was fine. It’s fairly close to home and we will use this place as our Thai go to spot from now in.

Awesome place. Delicious! Too bad we moved so it’s super far out of the way now but I always loved the food and the service was always wondering. The manager started to get to know me and once in the while would throw in a free egg roll here and there.
Dans 50th. We eat at this restaurant all the time & love it. Spending his birthday was special and had to choose Zab Thai:) Service is wonderful and if you forget your coupon they are great at honoring it anyway!
Fantastic thai food! It’s actually in Hillsboro not Beaverton. Definitely some of the best thai food I’ve ever had and I eat a lot of thai food. If you like peanut sauces and curries this is the place for you. Great romantic atmosphere and wonderful staff. Overall it’s a fantastic and cheap place to eat. I was able to buy food for 4 people for $30. I was really impressed with their lemongrass chicken pad thai. Superb.
GREAT FOOD AND QUICK TOO. I rarely have to wait more than five minutes for a to-go order to be made. My favorite dish is the eggplant chicken which is so good and has a nice smokey flavor to the eggplant. The service is good, food is good, prices are good, and its right next to my house. YUM!
