Full impact family owned/run winery. We had a group meeting at the winery. Ordered in food. But I have to tell you they have a nice selection of charcuterie such as Tres Pigs pate, cornichons, local cheeses, and olives. The pinot noirs the family makes are delicious and full bodied made with reverence to traditional Portuguese wine making practices. Including natural fermentation, not using additives or quickeners, and letting the grapes mellow on their own for 14 months or more.We were allowed to view the wine making facilities and they were more immaculate than your local hospital! Simply fantastic facility and worth your time to visit and enjoy the tastings. Don’t miss the 2006 Serenidade Marchal Foch Varietal Dessert Wine if they still offer it in the tasting menu. It was smooth, and fabulous and better than many ports I’ve had over my life that cost 3x as much.
