I really enjoyed the ambiance in this restaurant. It sits in an old Victorian house. We sat by the window viewing a rainy day garden. Our server was spot on and delivered the meal in a perfectly paced fashion. The Cocktails were delightful and accompanied the pomme frittes which were served with an aioli dipping sauce. The Caesar Salad included Rogue Creamery Smoky Blue Cheese, which I could have eaten by the spoonful. My Bucatini with Crab was lemony and served al dente. I was too full for desert but enjoyed tasting two different Oregon Vineyard Ports. I hope to return on my next Ashland trip.
Went to Alchemy last night. Words can not express the deliciousness of every bite. Always top notch on everything they do. Love the drinks the mixologist makes always a pleasant surprise when you ask to have them make something for you. The service is beyond impeccable. They are there to please. The food is to die for. Mouth watering scrumptious indulgence.
We had a great experience eating here. The food was very high quality and the staff was friendly. My husband had the crab salad, corn soup, and halibut all of which were incredible. His crab salad had a creamy citrus sauce on the plate that was absolutely to die for. I had the endives, butter leaf salad, and the spinach ricotta ravioli. My meal was absolutely wonderful although the ravioli was a little disappointing. The pasta and fresh ricotta were excellent but overall the dish was under seasoned and the sauce had a citrus flavor that didn’t pair well with it for me. It was a fine dish it just didn’t stack up to all the other amazing food I’d eaten that night. Next time I’d order a different main. I’d highly recommend this place for a special night out. Overall, one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was also extremely grateful to go to a fine dining restaurant and actually have a vegetarian main on the menu! It was nice to have a beautiful night out and not just order salad. I really appreciated that.
