Italian food like you’ve never had it. Different, better, yummier than your typical upscale Italian restaurant. This has been our special dinner out during our Shakespeare festival weekend for three years running, and it never disappoints. If you want standard Italian food, don’t come here. If you want Italian food with a little something extra special, give this place a try.
Ok update… Went again (not my choice… Forced friends issue). OMG… Pass pass pass…. Same crappy menu. Nothing seasoned… Where’s the freakin waitress? Pork is like leather… Seriously…. Maybe it had its day in the sun… Well the sun set. Horrible. I mean.. Ok fine but we’ll never go back. Nothing was seasoned. Poor menu. Overpriced for what it is. So so service. Seriously so so so below average. Move on. So many great places in Ashland and even Medford these days… Just don’t waste your time and money. Super lame and tired. Sorry.
PRIMO!. The best Italian food at amazing prices. LOVE the prix fixe menu – four courses – all delicious. Great atmosphere. Consistent quality. NICE wine list to explore Italian wines. Return here over and over for celebrations and impromptu dining.
Simply the best. Best italian cuisine in the valley!lobster ravioli, sage pasta, bistec, all are great! definately recommend!the antipasti plate is always a big hit as well:)could use some local beers on tap, great wine selection!
Amazing. Went there for a 40th suprise birthday party. It was amazing!!! The host of the party set up a family style meal with the Chef. The Chef killed it. There were 20 of us and we left full and very happy. We had an out of the world antipasto, then we moved on to 4 different pasta’s for the table. The bolognese was to die for. Then we had pollo tuscano, grilled prawns and a pork dish that made me feel like I was really in Italy. I love pork. Dessert was provided by the host but next time tirimisu will be on my list for sure. Totally reasonable wine list. Great place for a date or a party. Service was great. I will be back for sure.
Meh…. The service is great and it’s a cute restaurant/house. The food however has always been lack luster every time I’ve eaten here and I’ve eaten here a number of times. For Italian food they don’t seem to use a lot of seasonings. The food tends to be very bland and uses too much butter and oil. All in all, its not my cup of tea…maybe if I were British it might taste better.
My family and I were on our way to visit family in Oregon and stopped by this place to eat our thanksgiving meal. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, perfect for special occasions like today. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The resteraunt itself was an adorable little place in a beautiful town setting. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend this fine resteraunt.
