Soggy fries. I ate at Larks with a friend for lunch. We expected a simple but well prepared meal. We order the fish and chips (cod). When it arrived, the cod was fresh out of the fryer, but the fries were soggy and limp, hardly warm.We asked for extra catsup and were served one small ceramic (perhaps one ounce) container each. The fish was served on the fries, which made it difficult to eat with a fork, really fingers were the only way to deal with them. After a bit the wait person started collecting dishes while I still have food on my plate and was talking.$13 a plate seemed a lot to pay for what ultimately arrived at our table. I would go somewhere else if I had it to do again. The ambiance of the place was good but they really have to work on the quality of the food. Locals go there in the winter and we remember and talk about a poor experience.
