Surprised to find this gem when we stopped at the nearby store, Little Shop of Bagels. We had the Gaia bowl and the Curried Vegetables. Excellent. Exceeded hopeful expectations. We will definitely return. Service was quick and courteous. Dove into the food too quickly to photograph the deliciousness.
This place was terrible. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes with a line behind us while the employees walked by as if no one was there. When we finally had our order taken we were told to sit at the end if a table until another part came in when we were supposed to find another place. Luckily it worked out that the party changed tables. Out food was tasteless, there was barely anything but rice in the plate (I ordered the Tuscan and my boyfriend ordered the chicken curry) even the ginger tea was terrible. There was nothing good about this restaurant.
Underseasoned and bland. If you thought Thai and/or Indian food couldn’t be tasteless and bland, think again. My wife and I both had the Chicken Curry, which was described as mild and flavorful. They got the mild part, but missed flavorful completely. I had brown rice with mine, which was properly cooked but otherwise quite forgettable. My wife had quinoa, which was just about completely tasteless, and not saved by the flavorless curry sauce. The only vegetable on the plate was kale, which was suitably tender-crisp, but the only seasoning appeared to be salt and oil. Speaking of oil, we also had the naan bread, which had a decent flavor but was far too oily – not my idea of healthful. The restaurant is small and very informal (order at the counter, they bring your food out) and the service was fast. The servings are small and priced accordingly.
If you need a restaraunt with affordable and delicious food then sauce is the place to go!
