Beyond normal sushi. Star Sushi in Ashland is a small unobtrusive storefront on the south end of Main Street. Don’t just walk by! We have visited sushi restaurants in larger cities, but were delighted to discover an extensive menu, including multiple Asian influences. Our selections were super fresh, the servings were generous, and everything was very reasonably priced: the same menu in Portland would have run at least $20 more. The usual sushi fare there is creatively prepared, in addition to long list of special rolls, some incorporating cooked seafood for the raw-fish-averse. We are already anticipating tomorrow’s breakfast: bip bin bop, Korean breakfast bowl. Yum!
