Good solid fish and chips! The batter is really good, not too thick and with a good texture. The fish was a little dry but not overly so. The fries were fine, though not my preferred style. And the portions were a bit small considering the wait.
Some queues are worth joining. The one outside this boat is surely worth it given the quality of the fish and chips they serve here. With just one item on the menu, they don’t get anything wrong.
Seriously amazing food! I figured if the line was that long it had to be worth it and it was. Simple menu..fish and chips…only! Half or full orders. Super fresh and super good. If you can get there right before they close the line won’t be too long.
Good fish. One of the few places you can still get good fish and chips, and very unique!
GET IN LINE ITS WORTH THE WAIT.
On the Eighth Day God…. Hands down the best fish and chips on earth. The seas once were parted by Moses and when they did, fish and chips were invented and throughout history there were many attempts to get it right until one day this place opened. I tried it in 2008 the sun came out from the clouds, birds chirped and each and every time we eat there or bring friends there it is simply perfect! 2014 will be no different.
Best fish & chips I’ve ever had! Fresh albacore tuna on very light batter. Perfect with cold beer!
