The food was pretty good. First the waitress forgot to bring our soup..then my fried rice had burnt and I mean charred black pieces of meat in it. So yeah fried rice was nasty. But the rest of the food was good. I have had much better food at this restaurant so was disappointed this time.
This was my first time at this restaurant. The man who waited on us was rude. The food was not up to my standards for Chinese food. I will not go back. 🙁
Recommended. Arriving into Astoria late tonight, we were hungry so we stopped by the Hong Kong, and ordered a togo. The service was okay, and the food was good as well. Their dishes were so huge though!!! We couldn’t even finish. Overall the place and the food was good.
Referred ? !!. Driving through town and was told they had the best food in town! so we thought we would give them a try,we get in and lady seats us and then guy comes over takes our order i ask If i can have an egg roll instead of spring roll and his very quick rude answer was (NO!!) not sorry but we cant do that, or for a small fee we can. and then I say well I would like steamed rice with my lunch and he rolls his eyes after whipping out his order sheet,huffed and puffed and walked away! wow can you say rude my son was even like wow ,,, what a jerk! about ten min later these other people come in and ,next thing we know they are asking to talk with manager ,, the same guy was a Hugh Ahole to them! never again will I spend my money there again!
Must Try!!!. I have been eating at Hong Kong for quite some time now. They have good service, great food, and their portions are big. I do suggest it. I love their crab puffs and their general tso’s as well.
BAD FOOD. I wasn’t expecting much just your usual Americanized Chinese food… Everything I got was borderline inedible.
Good. Best General Tso’s in town. The general tso’s they use is the same recipe as the previous owners who at the time they were the owners the hong kong was by far the number 1 place to eat in town no matter what type of food. Very friendly waiters and waitresses. Only downside of this place is that its about 50/50 sometimes the food is very fresh and other times its as if it has been sitting for an hour. But still fresh or not fresh the food is pretty good
