Best Chips and Salsa place on the North Coast. They have great mole and the grilled chicken and steak are straight out of Mexico. One thing I appreciate is that even though they carry American food, like burritos, they have the curtsy to put them near the back and have the Mexican food up front. The interior is nice if a bit brightly lit and the service is… I’ll go with… kind. Their biggest problem is lack of beer. Are they better than the Mazatlan’s & Tapatio’s… Much, much better. Better than Rio Cafe… Yes. Better than La Cabana De Raya… No but they give you chips and salsa when you walk in and the menu is Restaurant food not Taqueria; in other words apples and oranges.
