T Paul’s is just what Astoria needed. A place with a casual and pleasing atmosphere, extensive menu, excellent seafood, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. Variety and price range to please anyone. The service is excellent. I’ve had the seafood salad, which had an amazing amount of fresh crab and shrimp over assorted greens. The poor man’s cioppino is the best ever. It has clams, scallops, shrimp, salmon and vegetables in a rich, thick, and tasty sauce. The prices are reasonable too.
Good, but not outstanding. We had a simple dinner at T Paul’s Supper Club. The food was good, but not great. The service was excellent! The restaurant has a fun atmosphere, too. My husband’s blackened salmon sandwich was very good, but his sweet potato fries were not crisp enough. This was true of my french fries as well. My burger was very good. The salad was nothing special; seemed like iceberg lettuce, although maybe it was bibb. Prices were reasonable.
Freakin fabulous. Had the Boom boom salad, GF had the chicken linguini and a couple of drinks. Great live guitar player, good atmosphere and prompt service. REasonable price and really good food. My salad was very fresh and different and big but i had to eat every spec. It was that good.
A delightful surprise. We had to wait awhile for our party of seven to be seated, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Not as much ambience upstairs as down, but we definitely will go back.
What are they?. The menu is eclectic and the food is equally all over the place… Some good, some not so good, nothing bad but nothing is excellent either. They don’t seem to know what kind of food they want to serve and instead try and make everyone happy. I guess their plan is working because they are always rated as one of the best places to eat on the North Coast but personally they don’t break my top ten in Astoria. There really is much better food in Astoria.
Wonderful food. My fiance and I ate here recently and really loved it. The food and service were excellent and well-priced. We would definitely eat here again. Truly an exceptional restaurant.
Best steak in town. As a local, I have eaten at T.Paul’s before and have been happy with lunch type fare. Last night my sister and I were looking for the best steak in town and found it. Can’t remember last time I had such a delicious meal. The place wasn’t crowded (Wednesday evening), the waitress was friendly, attentive and knew the menu. The only small complaint I had was I ordered a Pina Colada and it came over ice instead of blended, and the ingredients had a canned flavor. It was still good, just not great. My sister felt the same way about her Margarita.
