FABULOUS!. Poppa’s Haven is fabulous! I was visiting Portland from Boise, Idaho and someone recommended this place. Best coffee ever (I have traveled a lot always drinking coffee), most welcoming staff and loved the Hemp Milk!!!! WOW! This is a must go to!
Amazing. I have been a barista for two years, and this is a coffee shop with some of the most competent and pleasant staff and easily one of the best coffee shops in the northwest.Their drinks are always wonderful. They don’t change in flavor or consistency from barista to barista and their coffee roasts are wonderful. They usually have a selection of blends from Sleepy Monk coffee roasters. Their espresso is excellent and they are one of the few places that offer hemp milk as a milk alternative. As a vegan that is really important to me. They have a good variety of pastries, vegan and non-vegan, and kettlemans bagels. Always fresh!They are really easy to find but the construction makes parking a little difficult. This shouldn’t keep you from visiting because its a wonderful experience.
Nice place, great coffee. Not the best place to come and chat because it is very small and the whole place can hear every word you say. Also, it is difficult to get in and out of. It is a local business worth supporting.
Great coffee, good choices.. In addition to locally roasted sleepy monk coffee as their mainstay choice, if you order a venti latte, you’ll be happy with the FOUR espresso shots you receive rather than the traditional two at most other coffee houses. the organic and vegan pastry choices, along with the hemp milk option make this small independent, family-owned shop a good choice.
Awesome. Hemp milk and vegan pastries. Excellent coffee, organic. Flavor options like lavender and pistachio. Really cool place. Family run and very friendly.
Finally…. A good coffee joint in this part of town! Lovely staff running the joint. Crappy in and out car access, but go anyway so they don’t shut down!
