Devastated!!!!!!!. It was our anniversary dinner – special dinner right? Asked for a private table and I had flowers delivered to bet set at table for our arrival – guess what, the private table was the one closest to the entrance to the resteraunt and low and behold -NO FLOWERS!!!!!! On the table, simple instructions but apparently to hard to follow for the staff. Didn’t get a chance to try the food due to the destruction of what was to be a very romantic anniversary dinner – thanks 10 below for not delivery on such a special occasion – good news though, Jackalope Grill was in walking distance and delivered on a wonderful dinner.

Perhaps not Ten, but still below.. Our second dinner tonight at Ten Below left more than mixed opinion of the food. The roast beet salad was very nice. A kidney-shaped oil dish full of mostly Balsamic Vinegar wouldn’t have been as difficult to understand if the cheese filled chicken breast we ordered had not been accompanied by an incredibly salty and acidic sauce, flavored with an orange spice which I could not identify. This was billed as a mild smoked chili sauce. These two acid flavors did no favor to the menu. It seemed someone had either not known, or had not thought it important that when Vinegar is added to Olive Oil served with bread, it is a small amount, intended to accompany the flavor of the oil, not to overpower it by sheer volume in a leveraged takeover. The Chicken Breast was stuffed with a goat cheese with herbs and this might have been very nice if there had been enough stuffing to have tasted it for recognition, of its flavors. I thought there might have been mint among them, but it was gone so quickly I could not be sure. Wait service was good. There was a drink mixup which was my fault, and it was corrected and replaced promptly. The bar is fine. The room is pleasant, chairs comfortable. We thought about dessert but the thought faded when the saucer of Balsamic and oil took center stage again, in the hands of the busgirl, who as she was clearing the table left a generous beaded swath of its contents on the tabletop directly beneath and in her line of vision. No apology or effort to clean the spill was offered and the busgirl cheerfully went off to the kitchen with our used dishes. We went cheerfully off to the elevator to leave Ten Below. On a previous evening we ordered steak, and it and the salads and appetizer were very good, but we will need to hear that improvements have been made, before we visit Ten Below again.

As a group of eight we had breakfast here this morning and we all agreed we would come back. My wife had buttermilk pancakes which were light and tasteful and I had the eggs Benedict. The portion sizes were appropriate, and it was quality over quantity. From the hostess to the waitress the service was outstanding and never intrusive. Certainly a go back to place.

Great!. Not sure what’s behind the mixed reviews here, but my experience was great. The atmosphere and decor is top notch and the food was excellent.I opted for the Pork Chop cooked two ways. It was remarkably tender, quite tasty and beautifully presented. Everyone in my dinner party reported similar experiences. The service was excellent and we had a fantastic evening here. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Really cool decor and atmosphere…could spend all night in the women’s bathroom!!! But…food is just ehh and not very consistant. We have had a few really cool modern small bites like a take on bacon and eggs and a fun tomato virgin martini type thing with tomato glee(sp?) but other things like the salads and entrees were just tasteless and very small portions. When it says candied bacon on top…I would expect more then 3 crumbles. Service…they hover and are weird. Not sure…might go back and give it another chance- hoping they bring back the cool little bites/plates!

Fabulous cocktails, inventive and heavenly desserts, excellent food, plus a beautiful decor. I love this addition to Bend.

Overpriced locally grown flavorless food. Save your money and go for a taco bell fourth meal. At least you would get what you pay for. Should rename to 10 below standard.
