If you can do a good mac’n cheese and apple pie dessert then you should definitely get a high rating. My two pickiest food items. The Blonde IPA was just a bonus. Salmon was also excellent. I would rate higher, except on our second visit, a week later, the service was terrible.
Wow! for a little place—Wow!. The food and service was the best. We had appetizers that were creative and refreshing. The service was very friendly and unrelenting in trying to please—A Must for Bend!

Totally aweseome. My band came out to BTBS to play. They went totally 110% for us in terms of our professional music needs, which would have been great all by itself… but on TOP of that, the food is FANTASTIC! Big tender ribs that they smoke on site, delicious, well-balanced flavors… I had the pulled pork sandwich that was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Moist, not too salty, topped with some kind of pineapple chutney that was perfect. Our violin player had a Reuben sandwich that looked amazing and he gobbled it up so fast I didn’t even get a chance to mooch a bite. They have a HUGE collection of local beers on tap and in bottles–it’s like going to all your favorite microbreweries at once. As far as I’m concerned, this is THE best pub in Bend!
Great food, fun beer selection. Lots of veggie food options. The Nitro troll porter and strong ale were amazing. Very friendly servers and great music(Beatles, Led Zeppelin…)
