Went for full calories for our dinner date in Bend. I ordered the Buffalo Mac and Cheese, on recommendation of the in-laws. It was fine, but nothing amazing. The flavors were good, but I think maybe the regular Mac might have been better. The Wife got the special, 2 Cows, 1 Bun. It was a tasty sandwich with tri tip and prime rib and bbq. The Sister-in-law got the Jack Sparrow, a ham-pineapple-rum sauce-pepper jack sandwich. Very tasty. I think I’d be inclined to try one of their sandwiches next time.Giant pretzel appetizer had a delicious spicy cheese sauce.
This has always been my go to place, good food, fun atmosphere, fair prices… last handful of visits I have become very disappointed… Bad service, long wait times for meals after ordering, screw up’s on order over and over again… even lost my ticket once and an hour went by before noticed!…I’m in the service industry myself and I get this shi# happens, what bugs me the most is they have never once tried to make up for it, and there is no way to contact management to complain… At my place their meal would be free, extra round of drinks on the house, and next meal on us!!! When you $uck up you make up for it!!!Also recently have noticed quite a jump in this prices… wish they would have just made the portions smaller as they are ridiculously large to begin with!After being a loyal customer for years now I’m about to trow in the towel and move on to the rest of what Bend has to offer.
Busy place but worth it. My wife and I tried Brother Jon’s for first time on Saturday at 2:30. Thought we would just walk in at that hour but it was a 15 min wait. However the food was excellent. Its good food reasonably priced!
LOVE this place!. I love, love, love this place! My fianc and I go to Bend every weekend whether its so snowboard, camp, snowmobile, boating or hiking we always go to Brother Johns. Brother John’s public house has amazing drinks and food for the perfect price. the hummus platter is awesome, the Rueben is to die for and the old fashioned cocktail is perfect especially after being in the snow all day. Their breakfast on the weekend is also a must have.. last time I was there I had their French toast with eggs and fruit and a side of bacon, YUM! The best times to go is between 2 and 5 or 8 to close, otherwise it could be a long wait.

1st time here tonight – great atmosphere! Service was very tentative and enjoyed the food – we met nice people and even shared a table with new friends that we met the there 🙂 We go back! The feeling was welcoming – since we did not know anyone, met new people and has a super time
Small place. Limited menu. Slow service. Left and went to 10 Barrell. Best decision ever!!
