Don’t miss it!. We are traveling through Bend during a summer trip around Oregon. We were so excited to find this fabulous place the first night in Bend. Returned the next night for the wine and dessert pairing.First night we had the salted chocolate flight and a chocolate lava cake. My husband is a chocolate affectionado and thought the chocolate was fantastic. My favorite was the Red Gold Hawaii Kai’s Palm Sea Salt. The lava cake is delicious. On our return visit our youngest daughter wanted her own lava cake so she didn’t have to share. I had the lava cake (which I willingly shared) with a wonderful white wine pairing. Very good combination. My husband had the port flight; we purchased one of the ports to bring home. The girls had raspberry hot chocolate which they loved. This is such a unique and enjoyable restaurant. If you love good wine and chocolate you must visit this place.

Review By: The Bend Local LLC Johnny Mooney. Written By: Johnny MooneyLast week my wife and I visited the Bend dVine Chocolate Caf & Wine Bar in downtown Bend. We had driven by several times in the past and each time had mentioned that we were someday going to stop in and check the local business out. We stopped in that evening to get a dessert and drink after a long day at work. What a treat for us! Upon entering the establishment you cannot help but feel like you are walking into a place that is going to host a wonderful experience. The dcor is very nice and classy but yet warm and inviting. The variety of wine available is simply amazing! The wine however is but one exceptional part of this local business. The menu offered is designed to accommodate those looking for a nice place for a date night experience, and looking for a full meal experience. My wife ordered the d’Vine Lemonade made with San Pellegrino Limonata, lemon vodka. She also ordered the Spicy Chocolate Sampler which included Dark Chocolate Bon-bons – Ghost Pepper Salt, Ghost Pepper Salt with Caramel, Cinnamon, Cinnamon w/Chili and Lemon Truffle. My wife enjoyed the various individual chocolates as they melted in her mouth, each revealing a surprising blend of chocolate and chili inspired flavors, created by owner David Kalov. I on the other hand have a more simple palate. I ordered the House-Made Lava Cake with a Choice of 4 sauces – Chocolate Merlot, Raspberry, White Chocolate or Caramel. IChose the caramel sauce and was not disappointed with the warm, moist chocolate cake dessert. Before leaving the restaurant that evening, we reviewed the lunch and dinner type menu items which can be found at http://www.benddvine.com, my wife was planning her next visit back with my sister-in-law and other friends for a girls night out. Before we left, we had the pleasure of speaking with co-owner, Jolie Fiora who we found extremely pleasant. I encourage every reader to visit this local business.
