Quintessential Soda Fountain experience. This experience is so rare, it will be soon as impossible to find as a drive in. Goody’s is a local legend and the experience here is one not to be missed, from the out of date freezers from which the soda jerks scoop, to the selection of parfait glasses and spinning bar stools. Keep in mind, you won’t get a parfait glass unless you ask so unless you are taking away, so do ask. The ice cream selections are limited but in keeping with a soda fountain (not an ice cream parlor) there are many syrups from which to choose to make an ice cream soda or milkshake. The goody candy are good but not irresistible. The chocolate covered sponge/foam candy is very nice as is the white chocolate marionberry creme (which would be quite hard to find elsewhere). Head to the nearby Goodies factory store if you want the full ice cream selection, but they only do cones…

I have never been able to find candy dots and Goody’s has them. I’ll go back for sure.
