No help. Thet presented us a bill with all kinds of extra charges for things we did not order. When we called them out on the $80 over charge they were unapologetic and didn’t even acknowledge that they were in the wrong,, They did nothing to make up for the hassle with our bill , like offer any discount or extra services. The service was mediocre. The food was alright, atmosphere ok. the drinks were weak and they charge liquor price for milk. i will never eat there again.

Kayo’s was AMAHZING! I believe our server was Eric. Not only did he let us sample some things, no he even put a candle in my cheesecake for my birthday! The chowder was delicious, the buttered clams were delicious, the halibut was delicious. Everything was beyond delicious and it was a wonderful experience.

Shoiuldn’t be a secret. This place should not be a secret in Bend. Kayo has been doing great food experiences since I moved here 38+ years ago. Ate there last night with my kids and grandkids. Each of us had a different entree. Each and every dish was excellent. Combine that with the great – knowledgeable service, value and Kayo visiting the table ( the grandkids thought that was very special) this is the place all restaurants in Bend – and we have a lot of fabulous ones- should be aspiring to be. Thank you

HEADS UP MENU CHANGED 7/26/2013. Popped in on a whim, my uncle used to live here I was in town. OK…1- Old menu totally gone2- Good news – they still make THE Bloody Mary with the huge shrimp in it3- Everything sampled was completely fresh and on spot (not sure about the Kobe part…? ) However it is very hard to present a perfect broccolini that is tender, crunchy, and well-seasoned they did it perfect. Salad used all fresh local ingredients no faking that.4- My server was new and she was awesome, even with the jerk in the next booth all drunk and loudly causing a scene she never lost her cool or forgot the service and the ingredients in the dishes I asked about5- I think they revamped the staff…6- The bar? A bit changed but still has the pleather cushioned rail & video gaming. Tables are nicer but the chairs are awful. 7- Dining room, tables down very very nice. Clean carpet. Still a bit dim perhaps replace the globes on lamps with something clearer/ brighter the ceiling dims the package.OVERALL, the food is worth it and every bit competitive. Kudos to the chef and new wait staff.

The understatement of Fine Dining. This is the best kept secret of fine dining for Bend Oregon. Details. Kayo does not forget any. My wife had King crab and I had half rack of lamb both prepared with perfect parings and caring intentions. We had a wonderful evening. Go here when you have time to relax and enjoy your meal. I love the atmosphere I can actually hear my wife talk!

Great Dinner. Kayo’s has some of the best steaks in town. My husband & I love to go there for both steaks and seafood. This is our favorite ‘date night’ place in town BUT alas, I also have 3 kids and it’s a GREAT place for kids’ meals. My kids love to go to Kayo’s for the many choices of great food.

Outstanding Service and Food!. How do you know you’re at Kayo’s for dinner? When the service is outstanding, the dinner is incomparable, and the Chef personally takes the time to come to your table, talk to you, tailor your dinner to your palate and make you feel welcome like no other place in Bend. My husband and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary at Kayo’s Dinner House last night. I had the rack of lamb with quail sauce and Ron had the sea scallops. The salad was fresh and tasty, the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth awesome. Our server suggested a Red Knot (Australian) Shiraz for me and Rodney Strong Sauvignon Blanc for Ron. The wine enhanced the meal so much. For dessert, we had the carmel apple cheesecake. The server suggested the New York chocolate red wine to complement the cheesecake. It was an out of body experience. Thanks Kayo for a VERY special dinner. You and your staff are amazing! We’ll be back again…and soon!
