Restaurants like Parrilla is why I keep trying new restaurants; it’s a gem in the midst of overrated restaurants that absolutely delighted my palate. The hefe (they should really spell it jefe, but I didn’t see any Mexicans in this Mexican restaurant ironically) fish tacos were so delicious. This place is self-serve joint and it’s not for those who want to be waited. But, if you’re looking for good food, try it for sure.
Favorite place in Bend to eat. Their burritos are incredible. Go with their recommendations for topping and you won’t go wrong. The Bombay burrito is my fav!
Loved this place. The moment we stepped in, we knew we would like it, based on the delicious aroma, the uber casual atmosphere, and the very creative menu. So many interesting vegetarian options, I was in heaven! I had the Wrap of Khan with tofu. Some of their flavor combinations sound odd, but trust them. They know what they’re doing.
Parilla is the absolute best wrap in the state. I’ve eaten everything there . Red headed stepchild and wrap of Kahn are the classics . They also do 1$ one pounders. Never been sock there. Dos thumbs up!!
Had high hopes. I have driven by the Parrilla Grill about a hundred times and it always appears to be busy with patrons. So late one evening my boyfriend and I decided to give it a whirl. I had the Smoked BBQ Chicken and he had the Jambalaya. Both of them were soggy, but we couldn’t figure what was causing it to be so soupy. His Jambalaya was bland and super spicy, but he decided to eat it anyway. I gave up after a few bites and decided that although we spent a whopping $20 on two burritos (no chips or sides), I wasn’t going to eat this. I think there are a lot of people out there who really like Parrilla, we are just not in that bunch.
Good Fish Tacos. Crispy fish tacos with some fire to them. Good flavors, and a nice local spot in Bend. The staff was also really friendly and helpful.
It All Tastes the Same!. I went several times and really wanted to like it, but everything tasted alike and was too spicy. The place is dark and a bit dirty too. The chowder was tasteless and the fish tacos were awful. Large portions but what’s the point?
