We’ve eaten here before and the food was adequate, although not great, but we wanted to change things up and decided to go here. I was planning on taking my family here for lunch and we even made a reservation but when we got to the restaurant, it was closed and the door was locked, even though the restaurant was supposed to be open. We tried getting the attention of the hostess inside but were ignored. We could understand if they needed a few extra minutes but it was 15 outside and we were freezing. They could have at least let us wait inside while getting ready to open. We decided to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else. After this, we won’t be returning.
Excellent meal sitting outside on Mirror Pond. Traditional rolls with honey butter are an always welcome treat. Smoked Salmon pasta, beef Stroganoff, chicken Marsala, and a seafood stuffed salmon were all delicious. Prices were moderate. Eat here. I have many times over 25 years and this time was the best we could remember .
