I recently had lunch here. Great atmosphere and an incredible array of new taste sensations to choose from. My friends had the Greek lasagne or the club sandwich on a croissant; all looked and tasted wonderful. I would highly recommend the Old School Cafe.
Remembered the Farm Home had a cafe. Three of us had a delightful lunch at the Old School Cafe. It is open Tue. thru Sat. from 11am til 2pm with last seatting ay 1:30pm. There were three in our party and we were all happy with our choices. I had the special Salmon Penne $8, next one had Chicken, Bacon & Avacado Salad $10, and the third in our party had Italian Meatballs $8. All were very good. Much of their lettuce and vegtables are grow there. I had hot tea which was gourmet, the coffee cups coordinated with the seat covers, an extra touch. We had Tiramisu and Peanut Butter Cup for dessert, both were yummy. They were out of Carrot Cake. It was a lovely elegant setting in the restored building, keeping the history and school in mind. There is a gift shop as you come in. The wait staff was volunteer and very cheerful and helpful! It’s also a good place for a group to meet. There are changes in menu quite often.
