Two games of pool nothing but acknowledgement from the bar tender as she passed to go to the bathroom. So I went to the bar and ordered Calzone. It was huge. The cheese inside was not melted. Large chunks of green pepper and onion uncooked as well. I will give it a second chance but by far it’s just average for the food and less for the service.
Countryside for the HUNGRY. Came in starving and it smelled awesome, so I went a little overboard ordering. The waiter was really cool and right on, in his recommendations! Started with the finger steaks. Hand battered and juicy, they were definitely the best I’ve had in Eugene. For my entree, I had the salmon. It was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. I was very impressed! I left feeling stuffed and happy. I’ll be back…
GREAT FOOD. We eat there quite often……BEST FISH AND CHIPS in the Eugene area,Love their breakfast
Breakfast at Countryside. I have eaten there several times over the last few years, and I have always been blown away by the huge portion sizes. It reminds me of logging style breakfasts I have had in small little coastal towns here in Oregon while I was growing up. I have always had good service. It’s no Papa Hayden’s for style, but they don’t charge those prices either.
Dizzy blonde. The pizza is great all the food is ,but try getting a drink when the little blonde girl is tending bar it might take awhile.
I’ll not return there. Went for breakfast. Was given menus (no water and no offer of coffee). Gave our order, which looked great when it arrived, but my eggs were undercooked.. Bacon was so salty as to be almost inedible. Temperature inside the restaurant was so cold, that our food was not even warm after a few minutes into it (plates should be heated). We did get one cup of coffee, no offer of a refill. After delivery of our order we never saw our waitress again. No check to see if our food was OK.
My experience with CP&G has always been better on the weekdays. Their rolled crust is fantastic.
