I love their burgers and fries. The wait staff is always friendly and quality consistent. It’s one of my family’s favorite spots. Especially since it’s right next to Dickie Yo’s!
Outstanding Hamburgers!. When I lived in Oregon, I loved Dickie Jo’s! It may have been a bit busy in some times of the day, usually around lunch time, but the hamburgers were good enough for the wait and busy atmosphere. The juicy and handmade hamburger meat with a fry sauce like sauce on top with a choice of condiments such as pickles, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, all in between a soft, crisp-ended bun. Delicious! Then there is the garlic fries. Long, crispy, fries cooked with garlic, coming out with a fry sauce dipping sauce. As you pick up the fries the garlic gets on to the tip of your fingers, but you don’t care how messy it gets as you taste the zest of fry sauce and garlic dancing on your tongue, your craving finally conquered. The long wait and busy crowd is ignored as you taste your ordered food loving each bite, but if the wait is too long, you can always go later or earlier when the cluster diminishes and you can give your hunger a satisfying pause. An only issue besides the crowds is not having one near me, but the next time I return to Oregon, Dickie Jo’s is my first stop.
Burgers done right – and Chili too!. I tried Dickie Jo’s burgers earlier this week. What a busy place! It was hopping at 1:15 in the afternoon. I had a really good burger. They obviously hand form their patties just like mom used to make. Very, very good flavor and your choice of toppings. Some toppings are complimentary and some have a price.The highlight of my meal, however, was the chili. Wow! Amazing flavor!! I will be back soon for a bowl of that delicious concoction!I was told they have a place in Tualatin that I will have to check out. If it’s anything like the Eugene location it will be worth it.
One of the best burger joints around!. Dickie Jo’s has one of the best burgers around. Very good burgers, meat is very fresh and the condiments are fresh as well. You can add toppings, I love getting mushrooms and grilled onions on mine and cheese. Good sized burger and the fries are good too. Not overly priced. MY kids love coming here too and they can be picky when it comes to a cheeseburger. Kudos!! Service is excellent too.
Great Burger. I’d eaten at their other restaurant, Mucho Gusto and liked the food, and decided to give this a try. Very good burger and fries for a reasonable price. Fresh produce, good meat, very good fries. They seem to really care about the quality of their product. I like this better than 5 Guys.
Good, down-home burgers and fries. This place SMELLS like a burger joint should smell….no greasy spoon aromas here! Just plain, good burgers on great, hand-crafted buns. The fries are good, not greasy, and the onion rings are really good for not being hand-crafted. It’s our go-to place for a quick, tasty burger.
