We seen this place on the food network channel of diners, drive-ins and dives, and thought we would give it a try. The service was good, seafood was very fresh, and had a great selection of fresh seafood to purchase. The food was good, but not as good as Guy Fieri made it sound and look, lol but will return there to eat again.
I’ve never eaten here. I went on a recommendation from my people to purchase fresh seafood. I bought prawns and mussels. The prawns were great and well cleaned. The mussels however, we’re not. They were very dirty. A few were empty and about 1/2 of the 2 lbs. I purchased never opened. All in all I was disappointed that this is the place everyone recommends to get seafood. They need to step up their quality and variety. Disappointed.
Poor portions. Do not order halibut if u expect to get full. Otherwise food was delicious.
I can’t even provide an honest review of my first time here as I got my order to go not realizing I did not have tarter sauce with my order. It is likely self serve. If this is the case, I should have been informed of that. My only other fish and chips to go the tarter sauce was put in the bag with my order. The fish was good even without tarter sauce. The food is fresh and delicious. The only thing lacking is the customer service experience.
After seeing this on drive ins and dives we were excited to try this. The fish was fresh but being from Florida this place just didn’t impress.
Sandwiches are pretty bland but great French fries.
