New Day Cafe and Bakery. It’s a nice place as far as size and decor; it’s fairly easy to camp out in a booth. Dishes are tasty; coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice are great.But there is NO WI-FI! I was just there this morning, and I can assure you there is no wifi.
Love the patio. They have a nice patio for sunny weather, very good sandwiches and they do a nice job with omelettes and scrambles… or get a box of cookies to go that are the same price and ten times better than Safeway.
The bakery with the banging doors. The location and ambiance are great. The noise from the banging doors and kitchen is annoying. I like to go there for coffee and food while I write, but the banging doors and loud music often cause me to leave. I have told the people working there about the annoying door banging. They smile and say they are aware, but nothing is done to fix the problem. Sadly, the pastries are sometimes stale.
