Cool !. The help was competent and friendly and the place was packed for my first visit. I loved the smoked salmon chowder; but skip the hummus, had much better many times. They had h.u.b. stout from Portland on tap…so fantastic!!! Great venue…I will be back often. The music was good, but not as billed. Band called itself NewOrleans Funk but it was folk music…good folk music…but not funk! Ya wanna know Nawlins Funk? Go catch Dr. John at the Shedd. The only real dissapointment was all the yuppies with gray hair that were trying to outshout the music to talk to their co-workers that they hadn’t seen for 3 hours! Not cool people!!! See ya at Sam Bonds…
