Skip it!. I have to conclude that those who have given this place a thumbs up have never tasted good frozen yogurt!We decided to stop here after a day at Fern Ridge. I used to go for frozen yogurt at a place called Penguins when I lived in Los Angeles – my friend and I kind of cringed when that place opened because it was so good we sensed a big weight gain coming on as a result of our frequent trips there, so I was looking forward to having a treat at TCBY. I ordered a hand-scooped, rainbow cone. I have a major sweet tooth and have seldom eaten anything with sugar that I don’t like. This was awful! I guess the unnaturally bright colors should have been my tip off, but I let my husband drive off and tried it anyway. I only got through a few bites and about 2 miles. Not only was the yogurt sickeningly sweet, but I could taste the food coloring – and it took quite a while for that taste to leave me! It was so disgusting I had to ask him to pull over at a dumpster so I could toss it! He has ordered a raspberry sorbet and I took a couple of bites of that, hoping to get the taste of food coloring out of my mouth. Frankly, the sorbet wasn’t much better and did nothing for that terrible taste my cone had left behind.Frankly, there weren’t many choices on their menu to begin with. If I ever try frozen yogurt in Lane County again, it sure won’t be at TCBY! I will *never* go back there. If that is the best I can expect in frozen yogurt in Oregon, then I’ll stick with ice cream!
