My daughter and I might have a new favorite! We split the mozzarella and basil pizza, a Elderberry-Lemmon soda, and a San Pelligrino Pompelo. The pizza was divine – delicious crust – chewy, flavorful, good smoke. The slices were thin crust and had a perfect balance of tomato sauce and cheese. We followed dinner with a scoop of Burnet Honey Lavender and Honey Toffee, both on homemade waffle cones. Total bill: $28 + tip
Update: The ice-cream is D…. Update: The ice-cream is DELICIOUS! Some of the best I’ve had in pdx!Seasonal flavors rotate weekly; hard to pick a favorite because I’ve enjoyed the majority of them! A definite must-try. Again, #faverave for sure09 Jun, 2013Carrot-potato soup AND seasonal mushroom pizza = OMG delicious!! Seriously. Some of the best I’ve had in town. Definitely a must-try. #faverave for sure. Apparently the ice cream is to die for also. Need to come back to give dessert a try too. Soon. Definitely soon.
Really fresh farm bought ingredients. Great beet salad w/awesome homemade herb dressing. Try the fennel sausage pizza and home made ice cream! The waitress was really nice. Thank you!!!
Great Pizza and Ice Cream. I really liked this pizza. Probably one of the best that I’ve had in a while. Beats Escape from NY, Schmizza, Bellagio easily. The crust was good enough to eat alone and the sauce was just sweet and tangy enough to please both adults and kids. My 5 year old son ordered the kid’s cheese pizza and it was quite large so I was lucky enough to help him finish. I like that they put the toppings practically to the edge of the pizza and the pizza was cooked well enough to not be soggy (unlike some places). We finished off with ice cream. The rum raisin and seasalt caramel were an amazing finish to the meal. I would highly recommend Lovely’s to a family with children that can sit and eat a meal without needing a play area since they don’t have one.
Four words: salted caramel ice cream.
Yum! Great food. Relaxed, fun atmosphere. And salted caramel ice cream!
Just okay in our book. Cauliflower was great. Brussels sprouts were yummy.Didn’t have one of the entrees that Willammette week raved about…one of the reasons we went there. Rest of the food was fine-nothing to write home about. We called on our way there. Were told an hour wait…. we arrived minutes later and were told under thirty minutes,We appreciated the fact that they called us on our cell phone when our table was ready. We strolled down to a great little wine bar down the street.
