Love it.. The pumpkin curry is addictive I cant get enough. The pad thai is wonderful and I also love the green curry. Service is good. They have great prices. What more can I say?
Affordable, unpretentious, and damn good thai
Poor service. I’ve eaten at Monsoon off and on over the past six years. The service is always poor (although very polite and smiley but that doesn’t make up for long stretches of being ignored and forgetting to bring the things you ask for). Today I asked if it was possible in the future for them to carry wheat-free soy sauce (tamari) in the future as one of the Thai dishes I really love uses soy sauce as a base and I cannot have wheat. The response (if I understood it) was that the owner is not interested in trying something new. Oh well. I guess I’m not interested in bringing my business anymore.
I love this place! I live in Vancouver and there is not many good Thai resteraunts. This is definatly one of my favorites in Portland. Delicious food, good prices, and a nice atmosphere.
This place is worth the try!!!. On NE Mississippi, not too many parking spot…Try their crab fry rice, it’s amazing. Prices is fair and check out the waitress.
