The box social is a nice spot for a special occasion if you’re a small party. Seating is limited and you should bring a headlamp if you have a hard time reading small print in the dark. Menu is small, but everything we had tasted good. Drinks and cocktail menu is huge. Nice 2-4 person atmosphere
Beautiful space, fun menu, and really good food. Our food took forever, but I think that was an anomaly (and they comped one of our dishes because of it). Service was friendly and helpful! Best after dark. We went early on a Saturday evening. I can see how this place looks better when the sun goes down. I found the seating options to be somewhat worn and the tall chairs/stools to be somewhat unstable. For a described drinking parkour, I would personally like to see more deep rich colors and less ambient light.That being said, we did enjoy our cocktails. The Moscow Mule did come in the requisite copper cup, and the Dirty Little Thief with the sage and habanero tequila was very nice – loved the spice! We also partook of the spinach spread with toasted baguettes – could use a little salt, but other than that it was wonderful. I love a place that gives a lot of baguette with the spread – perfect.The staff are very nice and attentive – excellent help when deciding what to drink. Will give this place another try after dark.
Grilled cheese and G&T’s. The atmosphere and design of this place is wonderful and The Box Social is an apt name for this restaurant. The owners have shaped their location in a such a way that embraces the limitations of the building it is housed in. The natural lights, decor, art, and layout all add to a feeling of being in a much larger space.The drinks are excellent in price, quality, and craftsmanship. The bartender during my visit seemed to know a thing or two about what it takes to make a drink stand out.The food was light, and lively.Happy hour is well worth it.
The Bartender was the most professional bartender I’ve observed to date….. Fun to watch and the results were 5 star drinks… Ordered from the HH menu and loved it. Very fun bar to experience. I highly recommend Box Social.. SIT AT THE BAR!!!!
