Went in for a glass of wine and encountered the worst service ever. The bartender stood with her hands in her pockets, when I asked about the wines she ‘literally’ tossed a menu at me. She stood starring at me and was annoyed by our presense…Rude, Rude,Rude! Could’t get out of there fast enough.

The Liberty Glass @ N Cook & Mississippi: Onion Bread; Anchovy Devilled Eggs and Tomato Soup! Serves food until 2:30 am. Food the way Portlandia would cook it herself.

Dont judge a book by it’s cover!. From the outside this place looks so cute! Walk inside and it is just fantastic. Both upstairs and downstairs have a really great feel. Look at the menu and it’s fairly basic so you expect them to take these BASICS to the next level. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! It is hard to believe that such a great looking place serves such boring food. If you are going to have a meatball sandwich or grilled cheese on the menu make it different! Don’t insult the patrons by serving them a side of ruffles. Not the worst meal I have had but definitely the most boring.

YUM !!!. I really love this place. It’s tucked away a bit from Mississippi’s traffic so it’s never crowded and the food is delicious and inexpensive. The baked mac-n-cheese will blow your mind. Really homey vibe, in fact it’s in a house, with much antique charm. Full bar, great music, even kid friendly.
