Mothra Says…Good Beer, Zero Service. On a recent Saturday, K & I and some friends while walking North Williams, popped into the Tin Bucket. I will say it is clean, simple, modern, well lit, and has a great number of beers on tap with pretty good prices as well. In fact some of the 64 oz growler prices were just north of $10. Not bad. So, you beer aficionados will love this place. Me, I wont be back. I attempted to glean from the beer tender a pilsner type beer from the huge menu. But to no avail. He was just interested in: a) pour the beer b) collect the money c) Neeext!On my own, I picked from the refrigerator section a 750 ml of a Vine sour beer from Cascade Brewing. By the way, I was just introduced to sour beer about a year back and this is one fine beer. I asked the beer tender for four glasses and was told: there is a corkage fee on that! Fine, the glasses please. . Altogether, you will like the beer and the prices. You will not like the service.Take a pass on this place. There is a lot of great beer and pubs all over Portland with beer tenders who enjoy offering quality customer service and cater to YOU, the customer.Mothra says… 2.75 of 5.0
