We had the surf and turf and halibut. The food was good, not the best I’ve had, but good. The service was excellent. My biggest disappointment was they didn’t have any local taps on tap. They had the usual beer fare found in any restaurant.
You will like the atmosphere of this grill. Quaint eclectic surroundings that is warm and inviting. Service was outstanding but I must say food was just Ok. They need to step it up a notch to get this persons interest and better rating.
This restaurant is now closed and for sale. It is a good location and has a bar. Great deal since there are few restaurants in Brookings that are good.
Unfortunately, the Art Alley Grille has closed its doors. Today I found the phone number was disconnected and website was down, so I called the newspaper next door, and they confirmed that the restaurant is shut.
Went there a couple weeks ago. Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but we were in no hurry. Very romantic spot to enjoy dinner
Good food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. Front entrance is the Art Gallery. Anotehr entrance is in the alley behind the restaurant.
What a unique place. Downstairs from an art gallery. Owner/manager handles the dining room by herself. Terrific personality. Food was fabulous. Huge servings. Small wine list but good quality. Great dinner. We enjoyed every bite.
