there’s obviously been a lot of planning that has gone into this bar. every chair, table, and tile in the bathroom seems to have been meticulously fretted over. and there’s nothing wrong with their choices. it’s a very unique and creative setting. the main room with the bleachers seems like a fun idea and it will definitely be a blast on game day – whatever game it is. but, it’s also cold, very cold. i don’t mean the design but the temperature. it was frigid in late june! I made my way back out to the less cold open area and ordered the bbq chicken skewers. they were almost inedible. the seasoning was okay but the chicken itself was dry and pasty. i sent it back and ordered another beer. their beer list is okay but pretty limited. it looked like everyone else was ordering mixed drinks so maybe that’s their speciality. the clientele is interesting, definitely not local. very bro along with guys with suits and loud socks. so, not exactly inner southeast. the guy in the stall tried to talk with me about how he got pee on his balls so that was an interesting experience. it will be interesting to see whether they develop a local base or if they become a destination for semi-locals.
