A fine addition to the latin chicken craze in Portland. The cooks are engaging and provide fun banter, and the cart itself is well-designed and welcoming. The chicken isn’t quite up to Love Belizean standards, though this is white instead of dark meat so it’s not going to be quite as tender. But, their chicken falls a bit behind in that while the meat that is near the surface benefits from their amazing rub, the inner white meat isn’t all that flavorful. However, the salad was amazing, and overall, this was a solid lunch. I’d love to see what they could do with a couple of thighs, or if they could infuse the flavor deeper into the chicken.
