If you are a vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore, (doesn’t matter) order the vegan mezza! Beyond amazing and perfect to pair with the, fresh from the oven, pita bread that is brought out as an appetizer. One of my top five favorite restaurants in Portland, hands down.
Must go for Lebanese food in Portland. The service is excellent and the food is very delicious. It can get busy, so try takeout if it’s busy.
This location is very busy and compact, but the service is super-friendly and the food is solidly good across the board. They will let you make substitutions on the mezza plates, which is really nice, and one plate is plenty for at least two people. Nothing hit us as outstanding, however, good bets are the kafta, which was a bit dry but flavorful and very tasty nonetheless, and the spinach pie. The homemade pita is delicious. (But how can you miss with hot out of the oven bread?) Definitely a place to put into rotation. thegoodheartedwoman.com
This restaurant used to be awesome. Unfortunately, a few months ago they raised their prices and lowered their quality. The prices I could understand, but I chalked the quality up to a bad night. So I went back twice, and it is now a pattern (confirmed by all my friends): the food sucks now too. They don’t even get the appetizer flat bread right anymore. I don’t know what happened to you Nicholas. Your food sucks.
Great Culinary Experience!!. Wow! We loved the place! Great food! Great atmosphere! Can’t say if it’s authentic or not, because we’re not experts on Greek food, but the food was wonderful! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Portland.
Small place, great food!. Everything here is delicious and the staff is friendly. We waited a bit for a table and service, but with about 15 tables all full and 3 waiters running around, it was obvious that waiting is part of the game here. Once we got our order in and sampled the huge, fresh baked pita bread that was brought out – I was hooked. The tahini and tzatziki sauces were done really well and seasoned perfectly. We had the gyro and falafel plates, both were great. Overall, this is a great place for anyone looking for a Greek/Lebanese food fix!
The flood was delicious!! The pita was so good and the staff is great try not to stuff your self with the yummy gluten free and regular pita!!!
