You can’t get anymore authentic than Nicholas. The food was so good and the ambience is cozy and very friendly. I loved the history and pictures with stories inside. We sat at a large table with 2 other parties, which I was a bit skeptical at first of, but we ended up talking to both groups and had the best time.
Came for lunch around noon and the place filled up quickly. Great staff, friendly and attentive. I got the gyro bowl and appreciated the option for salad instead of rice. Wish the salad was lettuce instead of kale but that’s just personal preference and was still delicious! Food tasted great and I even had leftovers! Parking is street parking so that can get a little tricky but I was able to find a spot within a few minutes!
This place is no secret and there’s a reason. No canned products, freshness is apparent. Rice perfectly cooked and seasoned, tender chicken nearly fell off the skewer. Straight up delicious!!
