This restaurant is on Water Ave near OMSI. It is cafeteria style at lunch; order at the register and get a number. Good place to eat alone if you just want some quick authentic ramen. They have long counters to eat at.
This is another fun place for Ramen. It is nearly tucked under the Hawthorne Bridge Onramp. You can sit at a counter facing a window, watch the rain and devour steamy Ramen Noodles. The noodles are a bit thicker than most I have had and they are served al dente which I like. You can also order an assortment of tasty add ons for the Ramen and side dishes. You order at the counter and our food was quickly delivered.
None of the Portland ramen places are perfect but this one is near the top. Their noodles are soft and the broth rich and tasty. I suggest getting the fried chicken skin as a side and adding it to your soup.
