Was roaming around Portland industrial area late at night after sampling multiple breweries, and Robo Taco was one of the few places still open. We stepped into a tiny restaurant full of tattooed bikers. But there was a cozy vibe there & patrons were quite friendly. The cashier/waiter was quite friendly & walked us through the orders.Apparently this place is called Robo Taco due to the rotating (automatic) al Pastor. So you know what to order when there. We also tried the nachos (delicious & very filling!) & a few variations of the the tacos large & small (again delicious but not that filling).

Perfect taco joint for that quick fix. Ordered three Asada tacos, fully stacked with cilantro and white unions. Surprisingly they didn’t skimp on the steak. I really liked it. The layout is intimate, service is quick and efficient. It’s right next to a bar, couldn’t really hear any outside noise. They had a really good funk-soul playlist going perfect for a Saturday night. Will be back. imriche.com

Your Foodie nut in PDX, This was the worse soft taco experience I ever had in Portland, a soft flour wrap, a sprinkle of lettuce, sprinkle of cheese and a table spoon of chicken w/ a can of coke = $7.50 Good Luck With your experience, All I see is someone paying for the quirkiness, no food satisfaction at all
