Tasty red beans and rice. Had a yummy appetiser of red beans and rice. They top it with cheese salsa and sour cream. Thumbs up! Of course you come here for the 60-plus taps they have available. I have a Buckman Apple beer that was very good.
Terrible. This place has bad service every time we go. The bartenders are rude and clearly put out whenever we walk in. Went there on my wife’s birthday and they almost made her walk out. Took 10 minutes for a bartender and there was hardly anyone in there. They poured us the wrong beers twice and then didn’t bother to offer anything else. What a joke, save yourself the grief and go around the corner to Cascade Barrel Brewing House!Too bad, the bar is awesome, but whoever hired these banana peeling poo flingers should be canned!
Great food and beers. A little expensive but probably worth the extra few bucks
I really like going to the Green Dragon. I like the food, have gotten the pulled pork sliders, mac and cheese, and ham and cheese sandwich – all of which I liked. For people who complain about the $17 burger, it’s not the only burger on the menu! It’s a specialty Kobe Beef burger, so of course it’s on the spendy side. I’ve never gotten it, but there’s plenty of other good options. Don’t trust the paper beer menus on the table, those are printed before they open, and they cycle in many new beers throught the day. Check the chalkboards over the bar, those are changed as the beers are changed and are much more accurate.
Service please?. Had the weirdest server…we started off on the wrong foot anyway, as she basically accused me of not being 21 (just ask for my ID ok??), but then her inattentiveness was just ridiculous. once we asked for the check, she got all friendly and thanked us so much for being there…hoping for a good tip?? will not return. and i’ve heard they sell a $17 burger?? wtf. that place should be selling $6 pub food.
Bad food. Ok. first off, they have some good meeting space, which is the only reason I’ve come back. In the summer the patio is a great option as well.however.Though they have a good beer list, it’s NEVER up-to-date. Usually on my third try, they have what I ask for.The food here is beyond subpar. I don’t know of any other place in town that charges $17 for a burger, especially one that tasted so bad. If these guys want to make money they should do a major overhaul of their menu, rather than overcharge for basic (and poorly executed) pubfare.
Crispy Fries. I love a crispy potato fry and a good batter on my fish crisp and tasty too. The Green Dragon delivers both and a huge sampling of beer on tap too.
